The Greystone Project establishes an environment for philosophical explorations of space, design and art – continuing to build upon a legacy of creative, intellectual and cultural experiences within the Bronzeville community.

Defined as communal “space and place” for people, The Greystone Project offers programs providing community leadership and education in the fields of architecture, design, visual arts and literature.

The Design Education Programs are a creative CLASSROOM connecting academic goals and artistic practices, augmenting relationships between design education and the built environment. The Greystone Residence interior architectural LABORATORY of artistically handcrafted “roomscapes” broadens public appreciation of historical precedents of the past, inspiring design visions for today and tomorrow. The Artist Salon & Residency Programs provide a cultural FORUM supporting artistic practices of African American Women, cultivating an appreciation of their contributions in architecture, design, visual arts and literature.
